Hatha yoga is a gentle, foundational style of yoga that focuses on physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama) to promote balance and well-being. It's a slower-paced practice where poses are held for a few breaths, making it ideal for those new to yoga, pensioners and antenatal clients. Hatha yoga aims to align the body and mind, enhance flexibility and strength, and cultivate a calm mental state, ultimately preparing practitioners for meditation. You will be gently introduced to the fundamentals of stretching,strengthening and relaxation as yoga forms a basis for many of the modern exercise methods practised today.
